Renovation of this family summer residence included converting the existing barn to a new energy efficient year round residence with the original antique cape-style home retained as guest quarters. The restored porch serves as a gathering area connecting the old and new living spaces.

Abbagadassett Farmhouse Renovation

This renovation includes the jacking and leveling of portions of an 1840 farmhouse, gutting an existing addition to the home and adding a new addition. The scope of work comprises the following:
- Strengthen 1840's home foundation without damage to original plaster, and installing new ICF (insulated concrete foundation) under additions
- New addition consisting of 3 bedrooms and 2 baths using environment friendly panelized construction
- Installing exterior rainscreen to improve the durability of the new no-maintenance fiber cement siding
- New windows and exterior trim
- Energy efficient Dense-Pac cellulose insulation
- Radiant floor heating
- New interior masonry heater
- Custom kitchen

Middle Bay Renovation

The Middle Bay project consisted of a renovation of a 1970’s timber frame house on the water in Harpswell. The scope of work included the following:
- Demolition of one level of a split level house in order to extend the living space on one floor
- Re-framing a new bedroom and bathroom level in the same space to align with an existing level
- A 120 SF bedroom addition
- Relocating an existing woodshed and installing it on a new foundation
- Constructing a new entry deck with steps and ramps for better access
- Mechanical and electrical upgrades
- Moisture control and air sealing upgrades in the existing basement
